The Evil Returns with Haunted Design House.

That's right, the Minions (well most of us anyway) have returned for
a little play in the dungeon. We really missed each other's company,
and the daring souls who liked to drop by every now and again.
While we have all gone in opposite directions since the dungeon door
slammed shut a while back, we have regrouped for a bit
to share in our fondness for the dark and weirdness of our beloved
Haunted Design House.

For my project I decided to create an ATC Holder store all my Dark and Creepy ATC's in.

I started off by die cutting three block cubes from greyboard using a scoreboard die from Eileen Hull. I assembled the cubes but cut off the lid to create my open boxes. Glued all three together and the painted inside and out using Decoart Media Fluid Acrylics in Carbon Black, Pyrolle Red and Titan Buff. Stamped using Andy Skinners Industrial Stamp set and a Skull stamp of my own. I then Die cut the arches for the back using a Tim Holtz Die. Painted and stamped as before. Added a die cut Arch frame which had been given a rusty treatment using an Andy Skinner technique. And attached to the back. I then gave the whole piece a coat of DecoArt Media Matte Varnish to protect. Stamped a sentiment and added to a metal label holder and attached to the centre back Arch. Finished by adding some ornate metal feet. Quite pleased how this turned out.
Till the next time
Hugs Fiona.

  3. It feels so good to post collectively under the roof of the HDH, doesn't it? I am loving this ATC show off box!! I keep my ATCs in a binder so they rarely get any love or attention. Brilliant idea and a gorgeous project all around. Hugs to you my friend.
